Old Dominion University Initiates New Members

The re-chartering pledge class of G Company, 19th Regiment, Old Dominion University, were initiated into Scabbard and Blade January 28 in Norfolk, VA. Company Captain Jason Nobels led the effort to bring the Society back to the University's ROTC program. Society alumni at the event included G Company Alumni Advisor Wendell Turner, who also is the alumni advisor for I Company, Hampton University; and, Douglas Dollar, National Executive Director. ODU Professor of Military Science Lt. Col. W. Brown, a Scabbard and Blade alumnus, hopes to introduce other ROTC programs in the area to the collegiate honor society.
